My sister invited me to a wisteria tea party. She got out her best china and made cucumber sandwiches and Irish breakfast tea and made brown edged wafers, a favorite cookie from our childhood which is no longer available in stores, just because she remembered that I loved them. We sat out under her wisteria and listened to the hum of the bees and sniffed the sweet fruity smell of the blossoms. It was so lovely that I had to paint the memory!
