You drive six hours up from Cape Ann. You get out of the car all stiff from sitting so long. You take a few deep breaths and stomp your feet to get them working again. And then you head for the big rock. You scrabble up it and stand up and behold... the view! There's a better one down on the waterfront. You'll go there next. But this is when you know it was worth it.
