A windy day in Penobscot Bay - too windy to leave the boat on her own at anchor so I painted this from the cockpit. The swimming is fantastic, if a bit chilly, on that beach, with its white shell beach and turquoise water, which is why we come, even if the holding ground isn't great. The wind had a hand in painting this - it instantly dried any paint I put down : )
