This was painted at Asticou Terraces on Mt. Desert Island on the coast of Maine. We walked up to one of the little houses about half way up and painted in comfort. The view was spectacular! I have been wanting to paint from here since I was a child so it was very exciting finally to be able to paint well enough now to do it.
