This is a plein air painting that I made one gorgeous warm day at the end of May, a foretaste of summer. Painting on the dock in the sun is blissful. The dog loved it too, although he had to get used to the kayaks paddling past, and he nearly upset my paint water when one with a dog came by. They had a lot to say to each other.
